ARDROX 396/1 E8 (20L) – Water-displacing corrosion inhibitor

Ardrox® 396/1 E8 is a blend of surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and oil in a petroleum-based solvent. It is designed to have excellent dewatering and penetrating properties and will leave a thin, oily film on articles to which it is applied. This film will impart good corrosion protection.
Ardrox® 396/1 E8 is not recommended for outdoor storage protection. Other Ardrox® products, e.g. Ardrox® 3140, are available for long-term protection outdoors.

ARDROX 3966 (25L) – Water-displacing corrosion inhibitor

Ardrox 3966 is a water-displacing product for temporary corrosion protection. Ardrox 3966 consists of a mixture of surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and mineral oils. Ardrox® 3966 has extremely good spreading and penetrating properties. It also contains a volatile solvent and when this has evaporated, a very thin oil film remains which displaces water from the surface and gives temporary protection to the metal surface.

Chemetall Ardrox® water displacing corrosion inhibitor forms almost tack-free, waxy film, which easily penetrates to provide excellent corrosion inhibiting characteristics. This liquid inhibitor is light brown in color. It allows for easy application by dipping, brushing or spraying. This hydrocarbon-like odored inhibitor has a coverage capacity of 17 square meters per liter. It has boiling temperature range of 155 to 200 degrees C. The corrosion inhibitor has a flash point of 46 degrees C, making it safe for use. It can be stored at temperature range of 40 to 85 degrees F. It is suitable for use on painted and unpainted surfaces of airframe structures.

ARDROX AV 8 (1L) – Super penetrating, water displacing, corrosion inhibiting compound(CIC).

Ardrox AV 8 Corrosion Inhibiting Compound is typically applied as a coating to protect metals commonly used in airframe structures and in aerospace components from corrosion. AV 8 can be used in all areas of the airframe on painted and unpainted surfaces. It combines good penetration properties with excellent corrosion inhibiting characteristics and a low applied film weight.

In areas exposed to severe corrosion conditions AV 8 should be over coated with AV 100D – a heavy duty, waxy, firm film CIC. Movable parts should be masked before treatment unless spray application can be controlled to prevent direct contact. If AV 8 spray control or masking of movable components is not possible, then an alternative, soft waxy film CIC, such as AV 25 should be used.

ARDROX 1820 – Concentrate Airdrome detergent sanitizer

Ardrox 1820 is a highly effective concentrated liquid detergent sanitizer and deodorant which can be used on a variety of surfaces including glass, plastic and metal. Its applications include toilet tank soak cleaning and sanitizing of cabin and galley equipment in aircraft. Ardrox 1820 can be used at dilutions of up to 60 parts with water.

Ardrox 1820 contains a powerful detergent system which rapidly emulsifies grease and general soils. It also contains a powerful sanitizing agent wihch effectively kills bacteria and viruses, and an efficient deodorising fragrance which ensures that the highest standards of hygiene and a pleasant smell are achieved when using Ardrox 1820.
